Finally a real deal new Orleans style restaurant..The food second to none from the gumbo soup to the Cajun rice with shrimp and lobster. Service is on point with a friendly staff front and back of the house.. highly recommend the bayou .Tibbys not even in the ball park.

Great atmosphere, truly a Louisiana experience right here I Florida. I grew up in New Orleans, so this place feels like a piece of home! Food is 5/5!!!!! The owner is also a wonderful businessman and you can tell he really takes pride in his establishment.

Jordan was our server and he took great care of us during brunch. He explained the specials, all of the drinks and gave us great recommendations. I had the fried catfish and grits and our group loved everything we ordered!

Food was cold & expensive. Not a lot of selection for people who don't eat pork or seafood.

So last night while hanging out with a buddy of mine. We went to a new place called "The Bayou" in Orlando/Wekiva Springs I must tell you all the food was absolutely delicious 😋🤤😋 I had the catfish sandwich Lord it was soooo good and big! Their gumbo which might have been just a smidge salty but delicious 😋🤤 and spicy, and lastly their crispy and delicious Garlic Parmesan wings, Man you talking about New Orleans food right here in Central Florida for real! I thought I could but didn't eat all of it, because it was way more than enough. I tried to taste as many things as I could because the menu was Bourbon in New Orleans. You get transported to New Orleans by the atmosphere and the food, what more can I say.... Plus our waitress Nikki took good care of us with drinks.
